Explore Rise Hall and beyond

Rise Hall is a Grade II listed Stately Home in Yorkshire's seaside town of Hornsea. Most commonly used as a wedding venue, it's set within Rise Park, and is surrounded by lush green parklands and some lovely ponds. Nearby Hornsea has an expansive beach that is clean and tranquil, whatever the weather. Stroll along the beach, or head to Nearby Hornsea Mere and take out a rowing boat on the pretty boating lake.

Visit the historic market town of Beverley

The east Yorkshire town of Beverley is 10 miles from Rise Hall and offers a lot to do, see and eat. Tea rooms, cafes and traditional pubs serve up some tasty British fayre, and when you're done you can burn it off by wandering round the shops and picking up some bargains from one of the specialist charity shops. Beverley even has a rare minster - similarly to those seen in York and most famously Westminster. Its Gothic architecture is impressive but its internally, intricate woodwork, colourful stained glass windows and enormous working organ are breath-taking.

Enjoy the best of land and sea

Rise Hall is a beautiful country in east Yorkshire, and one of many jewels in the county's crown. Close to both the countryside and the beach, the surroundings have something to suit everyone. Planning a trip to Rise Hall? Half an hour's drive south is Travelodge Hull Central Hotel. Looking for something outside of a city centre? Travelodge Hull South Cave Hotel is around 25 miles west.
