Braxted Park: where ancient meets modern

Formerly known as Braxted Lodge, Braxted Park is a Queen Anne-style country house located between the town of Witham and the village of Great Braxted in Essex. It appears in the Domesday Book, but has undergone many changes since then. It's now a popular wedding and corporate venue, which also boasts its own cookery school and nine-hole golf course. The estate's picturesque walled garden is particularly popular with prospective brides and grooms.
