Millbank, slap-bang in the middle of Central London, is home to all manner of important buildings with offices linked to finance, government and business. Just across Westminster Bridge is the excellent Sea Life London aquarium, which is a must for those interested in the natural world. To see some decidedly bigger - and fluffier - critters, venture 30 minutes north by road (or 40 minutes on public transport - look for the Jubilee Line) to Regent's Park, where London Zoo provides an excellent adventure, particularly for young ones.
