Retrace the footsteps of footballing greats at Parsons Green

The small Fulham district of Parsons Green is nestled between two London football clubs, Fulham and Chelsea. Fulham's Craven Cottage is undergoing a huge redevelopment complete with a riverside walkway, but it's Stamford Bridge that's the star of the show.

Take a tour of the stadium including the Players Tunnel, the press room and the dressing rooms. Visit the museum to learn all about the history of Chelsea Football Club.

Back in time at Fulham Palace

A twenty minute walk from Parsons Green lies Fulham Palace, a grand estate with a medieval history. It's been home to the bishops of London since the 11th century, but artefacts dating back to the Iron Age.

Today, Fulham Palace is a museum, gallery and cafe with a sprawling garden estate open to the public to explore. Not sure where to start? Head to the recently renovated Tudor courtyard, botanic gardens and moat.

Chelsea Harbour

Fancy seeing how the other half live? Take a trip to Chelsea Harbour, home to the luxury yachts of the rich and famous. Walk along the marina to admire the boats before heading to the Design Centre for plush showrooms and exhibitions on the latest in interior design. The Design Cafe is a great place to stop for a light lunch - or a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
