Lincoln County Hospital - in the hub

Lincoln Hospital is the largest hospital in Lincolnshire and the current building dates back to 1878.

This city centre trust has great transport links making it easily accessible to other areas of Lincolnshire. Lincoln is famous for its stunning cathedral, which is within walking distance of the hospital. While the structure dates back to 1072, over the years it has been updated, while managing to retain its historical beauty and original charm.

An award-winning city

Lincoln is a beautiful city with so much to offer. The Steep Hill won the award for Britain's Best Street in 2012 and its olde worlde shop frontages are something out of a Dickensian story. Enjoy the boutique shopping down the city's cobbled streets or experience the heritage and culture of this amazing city.

If you're feeling hungry after exploring, get a bite to eat or some afternoon tea in one of the many restaurants, tea rooms or cafes.

In the history books

Lincoln has a wealth of history dating back to 300 BC. Lincoln Castle is home to one of only four remaining copies of the Magna Carta - the first charter of Briton's rights.
