A feast of aviation

Discover the Royal Air Force Museum London; free to visit, you'll earn about the history of aviation, from the earliest balloon flight to the latest Eurofighter. With a world-class collection of over 100 aircraft, aviation and wartime memorabilia, and a fantastic sound and light show recreating the Battle of Britain, it's a great family day out.

Green spaces and fresh air

Hampstead Heath is one of London's best loved green spaces, with beautiful countryside, rich wildlife, playing fields and an open-air lido. Aldenham Country Park offers 175 acres of parkland and woodland, supporting walking, fishing and sailing, a breeding centre for rare livestock, adventure playground and indoor play barn. Mill Hill Park boasts large areas of parkland, a Community Forest Nature Reserve and a range of sports facilities, as well as children's playgrounds and a cafe.

Outdoor family fun

Spend a lovely day in the sunshine at Belmont Children's Farm, North London's wildlife and farming hub. Feed and interact with the farm animals, ride a tractor, or just enjoy countryside views and fantastic seasonal food at the cafe. Kids and grown-ups will love dinosaur safari adventure golf, 18 action-packed dinosaur-themed holes. Looking for a cheap hotel Near Mill Hill?
