Exploring Regent's Park

Formally known as "The Regent's Park", this central green space serves up lots of ways to pass the time, including an open-air theatre that holds productions in the warmer months. Fancy getting active? Regent's Park is the home of the largest grassed area for sports in Central London. Or there's a boating lake where you can hire a rowing boat or pedalo - great for families or couples looking for a romantic retreat from the city.

We're all going to the zoo

The ZSL London Zoo sits in the north of the park and is a Noah's Ark of tropical and rare species. Lions, tigers and giraffes can all be seen in their reimagined habitats, or why not head to Gorilla Kingdom and the see the mighty King of the Jungle? The Butterfly Paradise and Penguin Beach enclosures offer something for those who prefer less imposing species.

An oasis on the edge of London

The beautiful landscapes of this stunning royal park offer a peaceful retreat, however, the hustle and bustle of London is within easy reach. Madame Tussauds, Portobello Market and the Sherlock Holmes Museum are within easy reach. Looking for a accommodation in Regents Park? Travelodge London Central Marylebone Hotel is only half a mile away and sits right on the outskirts, while Travelodge London Central Euston Hotel is next to Euston Station and just a 25-minute walk.
