Welcome to St John's Wood

Just north of the centre of the British government, St John's Wood is a suburban district in the City of Westminster. It takes its name from being the former site of the Great Middlesex Forest, and later its acquisition by the Knights of St John of Jerusalem. It's the home of Lord's Cricket Ground, Abbey Road Studios, and is known for its concentration of Abrahamic places of worship, with four churches, three synagogues, and a mosque.

Experience the heart of London at the City of Westminster

The City of Westminster is the only London borough with independent city status, and encapsulates many of the sights which people think of when they hear London. Aside from the parliament building, Westminster is home to Soho, Albert Hall, Leicester Square, as well as five of the nine Royal Parks. With fine bars and dining scattered around some of London's most prolific historical landmarks, you'll be able to spend a whole day exploring Westminster alone!

Buckingham Palace - the seat of royalty

If there's one thing everyone should experience when visiting London, it's the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, one of the few remaining royal palaces in the world that's still in use by a monarchy. Over the summer, visitors can take guided tours of the 19 incredible State Rooms, decorated with some of the most impressive items in the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt and Van Dyck.
