Carrow Road - home to the Canaries

Located in the east of Norwich Near the station and the River Wensum, Carrow Road has been Norwich City FC's stadium since being purpose-built in just 82 days in 1935, due to the team outgrowing their previous venue, The Nest. Currently able to hold 27,244 spectators, the stadium has also hosted under-21s international football matches, as well as concerts by superstar artists such as Elton John.

Norwich Cathedral - one of England's finest

Less than a mile from Carrow Road, Norwich Cathedral is a must-see for history buffs. It's the most complete Norman cathedral in the country and an excellent example of Romanesque architecture. Fascinating exhibitions are housed within its old walls, as well as England's largest Cathedral Close and monastic Cloisters
