Take a trip down Nottingham's caves
Today's Nottingham Castle is a 17th century building on the original site, and as part of your visit you can go on a guided tour through the city's fascinating underground caves. Once outside take a selfie next to the statue of Nottingham hero Robin Hood. The city centre is easy to walk round or you can use the tram system. Nosey round the shops along Bridlesmith Gate or, if you fancy some exercise, head to the National Ice Centre which holds inexpensive public skating sessions. Hungry?
