Kempton Park - an historic track in Surrey

Home to the King George VI Chase every Boxing Day, as well as the Sirenia Stakes flat race in September, Kempton Park has through the centuries earned its place as one of the leading venues for both flat and jump racing. The racetrack opened to public races in 1878, and today is one of the most popular courses among true fans of the sport of kings.

More than just a racecourse

It's not just on race days that Kempton Park is busy - there's a weekly market and a twice-monthly antiques fair to be found at the track, as well as various other events throughout the year. The well-equipped venue proves popular for all manner of meetings, not just race-meets.

Take a trip to Nearby London

Kempton Park is one of the favoured racecourses for Londoners, due to its proximity - Charing Cross is just 15 miles away - meaning visitors to Kempton from further afield might be tempted to take in the many sights and sounds that London has to offer. Central London is easily reachable in under an hour.
