Welcome to Hall Green

Hall Green is a largely residential area and council constituency in south-east Birmingham. Though it's not an active area for tourism, there are many places of interest scattered throughout. The Shire County Park runs along the River Cole, and is said to be the inspiration source for The Shire in J.R.R Tolkien's Middle-Earth fantasy franchise. It's also the home of the historic Sarehole Mill, one of two watermills in the whole of Birmingham.

Digbeth - a vibrant neighbourhood in the heart of Birmingham

Digbeth is one of the most distinctive areas of Birmingham, situated a short walk from the Bull Ring. A bustling hub for art and music, and home to great places to shop, eat and drink, you could spend a whole day out sticking to Digbeth alone. If you're in the area, a visit to The Custard Factory is an absolute must. Known for its brightly-coloured buildings, the Factory is a large complex of quirky, independent shops, scattered among office spaces catering for a number of creative and digital businesses.

Escape the bustling city at Birmingham Botanical Gardens

One of the city's most widely praised attractions, a visit to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is something the whole family can enjoy. Here, four incredible glasshouses contain ecosystems ranging from the desert to the rainforest, all surrounded by beautiful outdoor gardens, a tearoom, and a playground for the kids.
