In the 'burbs in Pelham
This small area of Hodge Hill, to the east of Birmingham city centre, describes the neighbourhood around Pelham Road and Alum Rock where the former Pelham Arms pub used to be a popular landmark. You'll find a number of Asian fashion shops dotted around this part of the city.

A two-mile drive from Pelham, this huge leisure complex has all your entertainment needs in one place. There's so much here you probably won't know where to start. It has a whopping 25-screen cinema where you can sit back to enjoy the latest Hollywood or Bollywood movie.
Seek out bargains at The Fort
You'll find plenty of big-name stores to tempt you at The Fort Shopping Park. It's got Debenhams, H&M, Game, New Look, Primark and Schuh to name but a few. There's also a soft play centre, and several places to eat including Nando's and Harvester. Parking is free, so if you want to avoid charges in Birmingham city centre, this is a good place to go.
