In the 'burbs in Pelham
This small area of Hodge Hill, to the east of Birmingham city centre, describes the neighbourhood around Pelham Road and Alum Rock where the former Pelham Arms pub used to be a popular landmark. You’ll find a number of Asian fashion shops dotted around this part of the city.
It’s close to the M6 motorway, so conveniently located for those travelling by car.

There’s also a soft play centre, and several places to eat including Nando’s and Harvester. Parking is free, so if you want to avoid charges in Birmingham city centre, this is a good place to go.
