Shepley Spring Festival, 15-17 May 2015

One of the big dates on the calendar in this part of the world is the Shepley Spring Festival, a three-day event taking place in mid-May.

Celebrating some of the best traditional music and dance from around the UK and even further afield, the festival champions acts both young and old, established and new, to put on one hell of a show.

With gigs and concerts throughout the three days, plus workshops and talks to keep every music-lover on their toes, this is the ideal time to see Shepley at its best. Check out the festival website HERE for more details and timings.

Shepley with the kids

Shepley is a very child-friendly destination so you can be assured that kids big and small will have a good time. At the Spring Festival you can expect Panic Circus – a workshop where kids can try out everything from unicycling to juggling, as well as a Kids’ Zone with music and craft sessions plus face painting.

But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. Whatever time of the year you visit Shepley, Cliffe House is a must-see attraction. The outdoor centre has loads of events and activities to put smiles on kids’ faces, including a woodland adventure park and a play area. There’s even a café to combat those calls of ‘I’m huuuuungry’!
