Positioned in the heart of Cheshire Nearby to Knutsford (approximately 2 miles away), Ollerton is a small village on the A537 between Macclesfield and Warrington. The Nearest train station to Ollerton is in Knutsford (Toft Road) and Manchester Airport is 20 minutes' drive away.

Cheshire History

Tatton Park is a beautiful stately home along with gardens, playground and deer park. Tatton Park has been owned by the National Trust since 1958 and you can walk around the former Egerton family's mansion house with some fantastic historical exhibits to peruse. At the working farm you'll see rare breed animals and for the kids there is a covered play barn with tractors and trailers. There is also the Tudor Old Hall, an interesting medieval building to explore with souvenir shop and refreshments.

Bird watching

With over 120 birds from 46 different species, the Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park, in Knutsford, holds amazing flying displays and viewing areas of unusual bird species. Enjoy this large, unique collection of birds with close-ups of little owls, birds of prey flights and vulture feeding presentations. Buy a Birds of Prey Centre family ticket to make this visit cheaper. The Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park is in Knutsford.
