Village life just outside a major town

Situated close to the Bridgewater Canal, Stockton Heath is a suburb of Warrington but could not be more different to the hustle and bustle of the town. The area is a peaceful haven and was in fact the first village in UK to get a purple flag for nightlife, with its array of top quality restaurants and bars making it ideal for a meal or drinks out with friends or loved ones.

A lazy day on the water

Considering how close it is to a canal, it would not be right to experience life in Stockton Heath without a little trip on a boat. There are plenty of boat hire services available in the area and it is great fun, whether you are planning a major celebration or simply seeking to enjoy a lazy day exploring the area by water.

Sample local culture

If you happen to time your visit for June and July, you may catch the annual Stockton Heath festival. The event showcases the arts, culture and heritage of the area and has grown significantly every year since first being held in 2008. Planning a trip to Stockton Heath? The Travelodge Warrington Hotel is ideally placed close to the area, while the Travelodge Warrington Gemini Hotel is also not far away.
