Take a look down the rabbit hole

Home to the Lewis Carroll Centre, Daresbury is the birthplace of the famous author who wrote such classic tales as Alice in Wonderland. The centre celebrates Carroll's life with a look into his interests and passions alongside readings of his unusual works and a stained-glass window designed in his honour. The centre is open all year with free admission making it the perfect destination for a local trip.

Moon buggies and water worlds

Just seven miles north of Daresbury, more adventure can be found at Gulliver's theme park. Aimed at kids aged 2-13 with lots of rides and attractions such as The Crazy Train and Tomb Raider, the park has plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. Recent additions to the park include Splash Zone, an indoor water park, and the NERF Zone.
