The best of coast and countryside in Hailsham

Around ten miles north of Eastbourne, the market town of Hailsham is perfectly positioned in East Sussex on the doorstep of spectacular castles, beautiful countryside and the south coast. Catch a film at the beautifully restored Hailsham Pavilion or head to Knockhatch Adventure Park to see the owls and animals, with indoor and outdoor fun to help young ones burn off steam. Have a pleasant stroll at Hailsham Common Pond or for something more active, the town's leisure centre has a good pool with a flume.

Step back in time in historic Sussex

You're within an easy drive of historical treasures such as the lovely gardens of Herstmonceux Castle and the rugged splendour of Pevensey Castle.
