Sport and more at Meadowbank Stadium

Located close to the centre of Edinburgh, Meadowbank Stadium was built to host the 1970 Commonwealth Games and then performed the feat again in 1986. The venue's first-class facilities have hosted a range of sports down the years from football to basketball, while major music concerts and annual firework displays have also taken place there.

Incredible views from Arthur's Seat

Edinburgh is of course home to two leading Scottish football teams and anyone looking to take in a game will be pleased to hear that the home of Hibernian, Easter Road, is less than a mile from Meadowbank. The stadium is also very close to the stunning landscape of Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat, an ancient volcano which offers breathtaking views of the city.
