Embrace learning at the University of Gloucestershire

Based across campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester, the University of Gloucestershire is a relative new kid on the block after receiving its university status in 2001. However, its history stretches back to the early 1800s, with its roots forming during the time of the Cheltenham Mechanics Institute. Nowadays, however, it is the quintessential 21st century university, with The Park campus in Cheltenham being its impressive main base of operations.

Regardless of which campus you visit, you'll always be only a short distance from Cheltenham's world famous racecourse. The four-day festival at the site, which is set within 350 acres of stunning landscape, is one of the biggest dates in the horse-racing calendar and culminates in the celebrated, and historic, Gold Cup.
