Meet a mix of people in Harlesden

Harlesden in north-west London is widely regarded as the city's reggae capital thanks to the high number of people of Afro-Caribbean heritage living in the area. A high number of residents also hail from Ireland, Latin America and East Africa, giving Harlesden a rich and vibrant multi-cultural scene. It's certainly a far cry from the district's original rural setting. It's also a short trip into central London via London Overground and the underground's Bakerloo line services.
