The understated cool of Kentish Town

Just north of Camden Town in north-west London, Kentish Town combines the hipness of Camden with old-school London charm. Home to young professionals and celebrities including Tom Hiddleston and Bill Nighy, there an abundance of cultural highlights to see and do. Take in the rich music scene

Kentish Town has an illustrious history when it comes to music - The Forum is an iconic music venue, that has played host to top acts since the 1980s, including Amy Winehouse, the White Stripes, Bobby Womack and KISS. Just north in Camden there are other famous venues too, including the Roundhouse, KOKO and DIngwalls.

Ladies & Gentlemen - a quirky bar flushed with success

One of the more unusual drinking establishments in London, Ladies & Gentlemen is housed in a former underground toilet on Highgate Road. Featuring cocktails based on a menu of homemade liqueurs and syrups, botanicals and herbs, and pumping out classic jazz tunes, get there early as it's fast becoming one of the area's highlights.
