A superb suburb
Morden Park is a largely residential district within Merton in south-west Greater London, which aside from attractive housing and amenities - it's popular due to its good transport links to the City - also has a marvellous green space, Morden Park. The park itself, along with the country house and enclosed estate, give the area a more remote, countryside feel than many Nearby districts - yet Central London remains within easy reach.

Asides from the titular parklands, facilities worth checking out include a decent pitch-and-putt golf course and leisure facilities at Morden Park Swimming Pool. Meanwhile in Nearby Wimbledon, everything from theatre and bars to horse riding and running clubs can be easily found.
Hit the city
It takes a little over half an hour by rail to reach the heart of London, from where all its sights and sounds are at your fingertips. Among the more popular destinations are the London Eye and 30 St Mary Axe - better known as the Gherkin - and indeed both offer stunning views of the Capital.
