Enjoy top class sport in Mortlake

Located in west London on the opposite side of the Thames to Chiswick, Mortlake was once well known for its brewery which sadly closed down in 2015. However, it is arguably now most famous for being the location of the finishing line of the Boat Race, the annual event where teams from Oxford and Cambridge compete for glory on the water.

Outstanding natural beauty

If you're hoping to see a more peaceful and sedate side of London, Mortlake is close to two of its most stunning gems. Greenfingered visitors will love exploring the greenhouses and walkways that the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew have to offer, while Richmond Park is one of the city's eight Royal Parks and consists of around 2,500 acres of stunning and beautiful parkland.

Great art, music and more in London

A visit to London simply would not be complete without taking some time to enjoy the bustling centre and its many world famous landmarks. As you head east into the city you'll be able to enjoy the exhibits at the Victoria and Albert Museum, experience great live music at the Royal Albert Hall and marvel at incredible art at the Saatchi Gallery. Planning a trip to Mortlake? Travelodge London Richmond Central Hotel is an eight-minute drive away, while Travelodge London Kew Bridge Hotel is another great-value option Nearby.
