East Sheen - a pretty corner of Richmond

East Sheen, known colloquially as Sheen is a fairly affluent area of London, in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its lively high street, mid-rise and low-rise buildings, are scattered with green spaces including the area's portion of Richmond Park. The area is also known for its prestigious primary schools, such as Sheen Mount, Marshgate, and East Sheen.

Discover the beautiful Richmond Upon Thames

Richmond Upon Thames is known as one of London's most aesthetic boroughs, and over the years it's been a popular retreat amongst royalty and celebrities. With a huge concentration of Royal Parks, green spaces, museums, galleries, arts centres, and historic buildings, you're sure to remember your first trip to this beautiful, affluent part of the city.

The Kew Royal Botanical Gardens

The Kew Royal Botanical Gardens offers spectacle and variety the likes of which it's hard to find at any other attraction, even in London. Here, over 300 acres, four of them in a massive greenhouse, are inhabited by the largest collection of living plants in the world, with over 30,000 species on display. One particular highlight is the Xstrata and Rhizotron treetop walkway, which gives you an amazing birds-eye view of a large forest canopy.
