Surrounded by rolling countryside, Harpenden has a traditional English village feel to it but with all the conveniences of a town. Harpenden Common lies just to the south of the town centre. It stretches for a mile and hosts cricket matches, carnivals and concerts throughout the year. The town has superb transport links, with a speedy rail service into London St Pancras, and lies just off the M1 motorway between Luton and St Albans. Luton Airport is close by, so however you want to travel, you're well catered for here.
