Small town with a big manufacturing history

The small town of Leyland, just south of Preston in the Lancastrian South Ribble district, was home for over a century to one of the biggest truck and bus businesses in the UK, Leyland Motors - and the areas still retains and celebrates its motor manufacturing past. Now, the town's truck industry has come together to create the Leyland Truck Trail, a fun interactive trail taking you around Leyland to 14 different trucks from history.
