Exploring East London

Lovebox is in the heart of hip East London with Victoria Park itself one of the capital's best-loved open spaces. It's great for kids with good play areas plus tennis courts and a bowling green. The Nearby V&A Museum of Childhood is free to enter and has lots to explore with large collections of puppets, dolls, dolls' houses and other toys from the past. Hackney and Dalston are within easy reach and great for some of London's coolest shops - head to Broadway Market in Hackney for fantastic shops and traders, and spend the evening exploring Dalston's buzzing nightspots. Columbia Road, also close, is another great local attraction and is transformed into a floral paradise on Sunday market day.

Go for gold at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
