Prestige and history at London's York Hall

York Hall is one of Britain's premier boxing venues, nestled in the east end of London.

Opening initially as a Turkish bath in the 1920s, the grand neo-Georgian building in Bethnal Green is Grade II listed as is known as much for its iconic interiors as it is for some of the famous matches its hosted in its existence.

Not what you'd expect in London's east end.

Housed in an old brewery, the donkeys, goats and pigs at Hackney City Farm are the last thing you would expect to see in this urbanised hub in the British capital.

Visit one of the sustainable events and support the initiative that's been up and running for two decades.

Take a course, take part in a volunteering session, or just call in and marvel at the city centre farm.

A showcase of childhood at the V&A

The Victoria and Albert Museum Of Childhood is just steps away from York Hall and is one of the largest collections of childhood memorabilia in the world.

As well as clothes, toys and a timeline of childhood life through the ages, dolls from the 1700s are showcased alongside Cabbage Patch dolls, and 19th Century Card Games sit next to modern day games consoles.
