A short drive north of Liverpool, Maghull is a moderately-sized town and civil parish. Historically, the town was a small village in Lancashire, until a period of large-scale development throughout the 20th century. The majority of houses in Maghull today are semi-detached 20th century buildings. Its served by the popular Central Square Shopping Centre, colloquially known as �the square�.
