Charming Chipping Norton

Chipping Norton is a market town in the Cotswolds, north-west Oxfordshire. There's been a market held in the town since the 13th century, and the town was a major wool-trading area throughout the medieval period. One of its most famous landmarks is Bliss Tweed Mill, an impressive Victorian industrial building which stands just outside of the town's limits, and now houses a complex of luxury apartments.

Welcome to Oxfordshire

After just one visit to Oxfordshire, you'll see exactly why it's such a popular destination for short UK breaks. From the ancient and prestigious University of Oxford to the expansive, rolling vistas of the Cotswolds, this county has countless wonders to explore. Whether you're looking to be intrigued by Oxfordshire's many historical sites, unwind by exploring the unspoilt countryside, or simply watch the world go by over afternoon tea, Oxfordshire is a true gem in the UK's crown.

Hook Norton Brewery - A relic of times gone by

The UK is full of breweries that open their doors to the public, but Hook Norton Brewery is unique in its faithfulness to its traditional roots. Here, the brewery's mill is still powered by steam, and shire horses still deliver the area's local ales as they have for centuries. Though the original equipment only drives the mill and mashing apparatus today, tours around the brewery will bring you up-close to a range of fascinating artefacts from the brewery's long history, not to mention samples of some of the area's award-winning beers.
