Explore Brean Down

The Somerset village of Brean is famous for Brean Down - a natural pier atop cliffs. The Down sits Nearly 100ms above the beach below. Walk along the 1.5 mile long natural pier and take in the views over the Bristol Channel and surrounding countryside of the Somerset Levels. Along the way you'll also spot Roman ruins and Palmerston Fort.

Take the family to Brean Leisure Park

One of the biggest theme parks in the south-west, Brean Leisure Park has everything from rollercoasters to waterparks. The theme park has over 40 rides, while the waterpark has heated pools, slides and a splash park. And for the younger ones, there's an indoor soft play area.

Beaches at Burnham, Berrow and Brean

Starting below Brean Down is a stretch of beaches that runs to Burnham-on-Sea. Thought to be the second longest stretch of sand in Europe, there are 8 beaches to explore here. It's a favourite for everyone from dog walkers to wind surfers, while the sunset views across the Bristol Channel are stunning.
