Tucked away on the western fringes of Surrey, this compact town is 2 miles north of Farnborough and close to the M3 motorway. Golfers will be in their element here. Darts fans also have good reason to visit as Frimley Green hosts the BDO World Professional Darts Championships every January, while racegoers can try their luck at Nearby Ascot.
Play and splay in Frimley Lodge Park
Bask in the natural unspoilt beauty of this peaceful park. The Basingstoke Canal runs along it, and there are acres of woodland and meadow to explore. It's got lots of fun family activities too, including two playgrounds, football and cricket pitches, pitch and putt and picnic areas. The miniature railway runs on the first Sunday of every month from March to November.
