For younger families take a stroll around Ash End Children's Farm. Feed farm animals, watch birds of prey and there's a cute little farm shop & cafe to finish off with. Experience the trails of Middleton Lakes
Acquired by the RSPB in 2007, Middleton Lakes is a fantastic nature reserve with a lookout hide for birdwatching. See if you can spot various wildfowl, otters or dragon flies to name but a few. There are a number of well marked out trails which are open every day. There is a small charge per family of 4, or free to RSPB members.
