Wolverhampton Train Station: close to everything

Wolverhampton Station sits right in the centre of town, and is just steps away from the city's vast cultural offerings. Wolverhampton is more provincial than neighbouring Birmingham but more than holds its own, with an eclectic choice of theatre and arts venues for an afternoon or evening show of entertainment. The Grand Theatre is the standout events space, showing everything from drama, ballet and opera, to variety, musicals and children's shows.

Wightwick Manor and Gardens

Wightwick is a beautiful park run by the National Trust. It's a magnificent attraction that displays the legacy of a family's passion for Victorian art and design. Meander through the relaxing garden in the afternoon and admire the stunning and varied artwork that adorns the manor walls. The house has 28 rooms filled with works, and volunteers will lead you through to explore Pre-Raphaelite art and original pieces by Morris.
