Go out of bounds
There's plenty of adventure to be had in Goring by Sea, including Out of Bounds - a combined indoor and outdoor entertainment centre with activities such as Soft Play, Clip 'N Climb, Bowling, Adventure Golf, Laser Tag and more, meaning that everybody from toddlers to grandparents are catered to. If it's hot and you're looking to cool off, the Findon Swimming Pool lido could be your best bet, and at four miles from Goring by Sea, it's a fantastic afternoon option.
Wonder at the windmill
The area is also home to the High Salvington Windmill, which dates back to roughly 1750, and has been extensively restored. With great volunteers who are ready to teach you everything you want to know, this is a fantastic museum that actually sells the flour that it produces, if you fancy a cheap memento!
