DAY 1
1. Morning walk around Regent’s Park
Kickstart day one of your London weekend trip with a leisurely stroll through Regent’s Park. This picturesque park, with its stunning rose gardens and serene lake, is the perfect place to soak up some fresh air. Regent’s Park is also a favoured park for runners and cyclists. So if you’ve happened to pack your running shoes or feel like renting a bike, Regent’s Park is a great choice to do so!
But if Regent’s Park isn’t your closest green space, don’t worry! London is blessed with plenty of stunning parks to choose from. In west London, you can explore the vast expanse of Holland Park or the tranquil beauty of Kensington Gardens. To the south, Battersea Park is another top pick for a morning run. In the east, Greenwich Park boasts stunning views of the city skyline. While Hampstead Heath, in north London, offers a more rural escape.
2. Shopping on Carnaby Street
While Oxford Street and Regent Street are the usual suspects for a shopping spree in London, we’d recommend heading down to the colourful retail hub of Carnaby Street instead. This vibrant street in central London is home to high street and designer brands. Think of it as a smaller, more stylish, version of Oxford Street.

With a diverse culinary scene, Soho is a foodie’s dream! For a delicious and satisfying lunch, we recommend checking out these fantastic spots: Mildreds is a beloved vegetarian and vegan restaurant that has been delighting diners since the 1980s! Their menu features a wide range of flavorful dishes, from hearty plant-based burgers to scrumptious brunch plates.
If you’re craving something a bit more adventurous, Bao is the place to go. This popular Taiwanese restaurant chain serves up mouthwatering steamed buns filled with a variety of delicious fillings, including confit pork and crispy fried chicken.
For a classic New York-style bagel, head to It’s Bagels. Their bagels are freshly baked daily and come with a variety of toppings and spreads.
And finally, to satisfy your sweet tooth, Chin Chin Dessert Club is the perfect spot. This trendy, experimental dessert shop offers a wide range of innovative and delicious treats, from dreamy ice cream sandwiches to their Signature Chin Chin Hot Chocolate with gooey marshmallow fluff – yum!

Next up on our whirlwind weekend tour of London, we’re heading to the National Gallery, a must-visit for creative enthusiasts or anyone interested in exploring London’s rich art culture. After a day of exploring London, there’s no better place to unwind than in one of Primrose Hill’s charming pubs. Before, or after your meal, be sure to climb the hill itself for breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.
For a taste of traditional British fare, head to The Albert. This cosy pub serves up classic dishes like fish and chips and sausage and mash, all freshly prepared and locally sourced.

1. Sky Garden
Why not start day two of your London weekend tour with breathtaking views of the capital? Sky Garden, located within the infamous Walkie-Talkie building, offers panoramic vistas of the city, perfect for a morning pick-me-up.
Open from 8am on Sundays, as the sun rises, you’ll be treated to a stunning sunrise over the city skyline. Beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful morning admiring iconic landmarks like the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Shard.
2. Exploring East London gems
Now let’s start exploring east London! Begin your exploration at Leadenhall Market, a stunning Victorian market hall that’s straight out of a fairytale. With its glass-roofed arcade and charming shops, Leadenhall Market is the perfect place to wander and soak up the atmosphere. You might even recognise this market as one of the magical filming locations in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Next, head to Tower Hill, a historic square with a dark past. This was once the site of public executions, including those of many famous historical figures. Today, it’s a peaceful green space with a poignant memorial to those who lost their lives.
From here, you can easily reach the Tower of London, a fortress with over 900 years of history. Discover the Crown Jewels, explore the historic buildings and learn about the Tower’s fascinating past. Finally, take in the iconic views of Tower Bridge, one of London’s most recognisable landmarks.

Here are a few of our favourite spots for a delicious lunch: For a taste of authentic Chinese dumplings, Dumpling Shack is a must-visit. It’s now time to wind down your day with a stroll along Columbia Road. Every Sunday, this charming street transforms into a vibrant Columbia Road Flower Market, and as you wander through the colourful stalls, you’ll be greeted by a delightful array of blooms.
