How we’re responding to the hospitality staffing crisis

The combination of Brexit and Covid has caused a crisis across many businesses, including the hospitality sector. To help navigate this crisis, we at Travelodge have launched our new and improved benefits package and are recruiting 680 new roles.

The past 2 years have been unusual to say the least and now we’re approaching the long awaited removal of restrictions but with international travel restrictions changing frequently we are gearing up for a busy summer. A combination of Brexit and Covid has left many hospitality businesses struggling to fill positions.

This year we’re looking to fill 680 positions across the country in readiness for the summer Staycation season. This recruitment drive includes 637 full & part time positions across the company’s UK Travelodge hotels. Positions include 45 management roles for Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager positions. The other roles include: Bar Café Team Member, Housekeeping Team Member and Receptionist.
