Eastbourne Bandstand Concert, East Sussex

The ever-popular Eastbourne Bandstand concert is returning for another year. Held along the coast of Eastbourne with stunning views of the town and coast, these traditional Christmas and New Year concerts provide brilliant entertainment, all for free! The concerts started back in 1935 when the bandstand was first built, and have been a Christmas tradition ever since! Perfect for the whole family, and packed with local food stands and cafes dotted around the pavilion area to complete your visit. Festival of Light, Newbury

Get in the festive mood this Christmas at this stunning light festival held in the Berkshire town of Newbury. Witness hundreds of twinkling lights and lanterns parading through the town on the 11th of December, starting at Northbrook Street and ending at the Marketplace, where plenty of entertainment and festivities await. With plenty of gift stalls, arts and crafts tables and refreshments available, you wouldn’t believe that this event doesn’t cost you a penny!
