The Hunger Games: On Stage is set to make its long-awaited debut in London in October 2025, bringing Suzanne Collins’ dystopian world of Panem to thrilling new life on stage. The production will play at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, a brand-new, purpose-built venue designed to immerse audiences right in the middle of the action. Adapted by acclaimed playwright Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country) and directed by Matthew Dunster (2:22 – A Ghost Story), the show promises cutting-edge staging, emotional storytelling and an up-close experience of Katniss Everdeen’s fight for survival in the infamous televised Hunger Games.
It’s worth noting that The Hunger Games: On Stage is not technically a West End show – its home in Canary Wharf lies just outside Theatreland. But that’s actually part of the appeal: the brand-new theatre offers state-of-the-art design and a flexible in-the-round layout built specifically for this production. With its fresh approach, striking visuals and a creative team known for bold storytelling, The Hunger Games: On Stage looks set to be one of London’s most exciting new theatre events of 2025.
