Kendal Mountain Festival: Share the Adventure

Kendal Mountain embodies the spirit of adventure, encouraging people from all walks of life to take on new challenges and discover thrilling experiences. A community of more than 20,000 gather at the Kendal Mountain Festival each year for adrenaline-fuelled activities, incredible guest speakers and awesome adventure films.

Followed by a tour around the UK, this is the world’s biggest Mountain Festival. In fact, we’re certain you won’t quench your thirst for adventure anywhere else!

Kendal Mountain Festival activity Returning this year on Thursday 16th November, the Kendal Mountain Festival is the finest social event for those who love the outdoors. Located at the opening to The Lake District where you’ll truly be at one with nature, the weekend is jam-packed with special guests, top entertainment and lots of action – including the Adidas TERREX 10K trail race. This is the perfect opportunity to get inspired and experience something new with a community of like-minded thrill-seekers! Find your inner peace at a live yoga session, discuss the troubles of climate change, admire the performance art then let your hair down at the Silent Disco. Whatever you’re into, you won’t be disappointed.

Once the weekend is complete, the festival goes on tour throughout February – June across the UK, to bring motivating films and powerful talks to wider audiences at over 40 venues. Each event has a fantastic speaker at the heart, telling incredible stories of endurance and fortitude. This year’s diverse line-up features campaigner, trail and mountain ultra athlete Sabrina Pace-Humphreys, journalist and travel writer Monisha Rajesh, runner and leading sports dietitian Renee McGregor, former rugby star turned adaptive mountaineer Ed Jackson, alpinist and wingsuit BASE jumper Tim Howell, award-winning travel writer Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent, disabled marathon challenger Darren Edwards, and solo cycle adventure rider Rebecca Lowe.
