Muncaster Castle, Lake District

Chillingham Castle, Scotland
As the name itself suggests, this castle will certainly send a few chills running down your spine. In contrast to the beautiful park lands, gardens and lakes, there are dungeons and a torture chamber complete with real carvings from prisoners past, and even human remains that can be seen in the vault underneath the trap door.
