Saved from demolition and reopened in 2006, London Fields Lido boasts a large sundeck perfect for lounging The cafe is also great for a post swim snack, so a visit to this sunny spot is not to be missed. 3. Saltdean Lido, Brighton

Located just a stone’s throw from the beach, Saltdean Lido has been described by Historic England as one of the seven wonders of the English seaside. The pool was reopened and restored to all of its original 1930’s charm in 2017 complete with a paddling pool, a splash area for the kids, as well as a lawn ideal for picnicking.
