We strongly recommend that you check and are happy with the terms and conditions of the rate type you choose to book as we won't offer changes or refunds outside of the terms and conditions applicable to your chosen rate type. Our rate terms and conditions continue to apply unless we are obliged to close any of our hotels entirely or the Government requires us to refund certain customer groups.

Flexible Rate Bookings

Our Flexible rate offers the most freedom to change bookings. If you book a Flexible Rate, you can amend or cancel your booking for free up until 12:00 noon on the date of arrival and you'll receive a full refund for a booking cancellation. You can amend or cancel your booking by visiting the Manage Booking section of our website.

Saver Rate Bookings

Saver rate bookings are non-refundable.

You can amend the arrival date of your Saver Rate booking. A £5 change fee applies.

Amendments are subject to availability and must be on a like-for-like basis; this means the same rate type, same hotel and the same stay duration.

If the price for your new booking date is higher than your original booking date, you will need to make the additional payment to complete your booking.

Amendments must take place prior to 12:00 noon on the original day of arrival.

Please be aware that booking policy only allows you to book 325 days in advance.

FAQs

Yes for stays in Wales. As part of the Welsh Government's contact tracing programme, known as Test Trace Protect, it is a requirement to provide contact details for every guest, over the age of 16, who is booked to stay at Travelodge before you check in to the hotel.

You will be asked to provide these at reception when you arrive to check in.

Please note, as it is a mandatory Government requirement for customers staying in hotels in Wales to provide contact details, check in will be refused if these are not provided.

For stays in England we request that you wear a face covering (unless exempt) in all public areas of the hotel such as reception, lifts, stairs and corridors.

No, you are not allowed to quarantine at any of our hotels as Travelodge is not participating in the Government hotel quarantine programme. We also do not recommend our hotels are used for self isolation, because Travelodge does not provide room service and take away food delivery drivers are not permitted to deliver food to guest bedrooms as this increases risk to other customers and our hotel teams.

No, you won't need a different WiFi code, as the WiFi code in your original booking confirmation will transfer to your booking amendment.
