Travelodge has been obliged to temporarily close its hotels in line with the instructions from Government and in response to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

Selected hotels are currently open in line with Government guidance. Please click here to see open hotels.

We will continue to amend this page regularly to keep you updated.

Bookings for stays up to and including 3rd July 2020

We are currently contacting people with bookings during this period and in line with Government guidelines for operating hotels. We are working through this systematically week by week, so we will be in touch if your booking is affected at least a week in advance of your stay date. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Saver Rate Bookings

If you have booked a non-refundable Saver Rate you may now cancel or amend your booking free of charge until further notice.

Cancel Your Saver Rate Booking Online

You can cancel your Saver Rate booking and receive a Saver Rate Cancellation Voucher instantly within the cancellation confirmation email you are sent. This voucher is redeemable for the same value as the original booking.

Amend Your Saver Rate Booking Online

If you wish to change your arrival date, you are able to amend your booking online free of charge as we have waived our usual amend fees for Saver Rates until further notice.

Amendments are subject to availability and must be on a like-for-like basis; this means the same rate type, same hotel and the same stay duration.

If the price for your new booking date is higher than your original booking date then you will need to make the additional payment to complete your booking.

Amendments must take place prior to 12:00 noon on the original day of arrival.

If you no longer wish to travel and wish to be refunded for your booking, you should consult your travel insurance provider, as we regret we are unable to refund non-refundable rates.

Flexible Rate Bookings

If you have booked a Flexible Rate, you are entitled to cancel up until 12:00 noon on the date of arrival and receive a full refund. You can cancel your booking by visiting the Manage Booking section of our website.

Hotels Open

Selected hotels are currently open to support key workers including NHS staff and selected groups identified by the Government. Please only book if you belong to one of these groups.

Food and beverage

In line with the Government instruction and our commitment to the health and safety of all our customers and hotel team members, we've had to temporarily close our restaurants and bars until further notice.

If you have stayed with us since this date and had pre-booked and already paid for breakfast or dinner, please complete the Food and Beverage Form so we can refund you. Please bear with us, and we'll be in touch regarding affected bookings. Thanks for your understanding.

When you cancel your Saver Rate, we'll send a cancellation confirmation email to the person who made the booking. This email will include the Saver Rate Cancellation voucher code and value.

To use your voucher, proceed with your booking as usual on www.travelodge.co.uk and on the basket summary page enter your code in the Discount Code/Voucher box and click Apply which will deduct the value of your voucher.

No, you won't need a different WiFi code, as the WiFi code in your original booking confirmation will transfer to your booking amendment.

You may change the arrival date, room type and/or guest name on a Saver Rate booking and we have waived the amendment fee. It is not possible to amend your booking to a different hotel.
