Down by the river in Essex

Lying on the north bank of the River Thames Near the Dartford Crossing, Grays is the largest town in Thurrock, with a bustling riverfront and stretches of green space. Being close to the M25, you've got great access to the Greater London area, and you can be in the centre of the capital within 40 minutes by train.

Kids' fun on Grays Beach

This riverside park is one of the most popular places in Thurrock. Little ones can mess around in the sand pit and galleon play area, while older kids can tackle the skate ramp and play basketball. Grays Beach is also the site of local landmark The Gull, a dilapidated old lightship built in 1860 that has been moored on the foreshore for decades.
