Jet-setting in Harlington

There has been a settlement at Harlington since at least the 9th century, but those early residents couldn't have imagined what the village would be like today, located as it is on the northern perimeter of London's Heathrow Airport. Although several important buildings were demolished to make way for runways and the M4 motorway, there are still several listed constructions around, including a number of farms, two churches and the 16th century Dower House.
