In search of Sherlock Holmes

On the western edge of Greater London just north of Heathrow Airport, West Drayton benefits from express rail services to the capital, meaning you can be enjoying some of England's best attractions inside just 25 minutes. Get off at Paddington and head for the Sherlock Holmes Museum at the iconic 221b Baker Street, to learn about the history of the world's best-loved sleuth. Track down some picnic nibbles on Baker Street before heading to The Regent's Park for lunch in the capital's most artfully manicured green space.

Cycle West Drayton canals

Located just south of the Colne Valley Regional Park, West Drayton is popular with walkers and cyclists keen to explore its 50 miles of rivers and canal and more than 40 lakes. Saddle up and take in the contrasting industrial and rural scenery along the Grand Union and Slough Arm canals. The visitor centre is located at Denham Country Park, while adventurous cyclists can trace the history and significance of London canals by heading east - all the way to the city centre - without leaving the towpath.

Kids will love LEGOLAND

Just 20 minutes away by car from West Drayton, the whole family can enjoy a fab day out at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. With fun rides, themed zones and an immersive underwater adventure experience, kids big and small won't want to leave. Looking for cheap accommodation in West Drayton?
