Tulse Hill - village life in the big city

The district of Tulse Hill lies in the London Borough of Lambeth towards the south of the city. The area is named after the Tulse family, who came into ownership of farmland in the area during the mid-17th-century. Nowadays, the area offers great transport links to the busier areas of Herne Hill and Brixton, and has calm, rolling meadows close to Brockwell Park.

Enjoy parklife at Brockwell Park

Originally belonging to Brockwell Hall, Brockwell Park is merely 5 minutes away from Tulse Hill. Popular with locals from the district, as well as neighbouring Herne Hill and Brixton, this beautiful green space is a great way to laze on a summer's day. Due to its attractiveness and size, the park is often used for a wide array of events including fetes, concerts and galleries.
