Football and culture in White City

Home to the redeveloped Television Centre, White City forms the northern section of Shepherd's Bush in west London. This creative hub is set for further regeneration in the coming years, with new apartments and offices built alongside BBC studios, a park, restaurants and a cinema.

This area is also where you'll find Loftus Road, the home ground of QPR. Get close to the action on match days.

Shop at Westfield

One of White City's biggest attractions is the Westfield Shopping Centre. With more than 260 stores under one roof, it's the ideal place to get all your shopping sorted in one trip. It's got everything from Topshop and Zara to Apple and Lego.

A smattering of restaurants run along the Southern Terrace, and fresh food is prepared on The Balcony. There's also a 14-screen cinema, gym and massage centre. If you're loaded up with bags, there are several Tube stops Nearby.

This former BBC recording theatre offers fantastic acoustics in an intimate setting, and many musicians say this is their favourite London venue to perform in. See the likes of Howard Jones, Sleeper and Matt Goss, plus top stand-up comics.
