Originally opened in 1895, Southampton Central train station has grown to be an important hub for both the city and the wider South West region. The station itself is located right in the city's centre and is just a few minutes' walk from the SeaCity Museum, which is home to a range of interactive exhibits and tells the story of Southampton and its involvement in the construction of the world famous Titanic.
